We had our stairs, entire first level and hallway upstairs done. The workmanship and the attitude of the entire crew was excellent. They cleaned up before leaving each day and were respectful in my home. The work is really first class and we get compliments on it all the time.

Tomek and his team were recommended to us by a friend, and we are very glad that we picked him to renovate our main staircase and also to install new flooring in the main and upstairs level. Right from the beginning they were incredibly professional and friendly and helped explain what needed to be done and why it had to be done without pressuring us to choose any extra options if we didn’t want them. They always came right on time and always cleaned up after themselves when they were done for the day to the point that you couldn’t even tell that anyone was working on our stairs or floor. They were also happy to offer their own opinion when asked when we didn’t know what options to choose, helping us make up our minds through various sample options and showing us previous customer builds. Their work is incredibly high quality and their attention to detail and passion in their work is why we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a custom woodworking company.

My wife and I bought an almost 50 year old home with the original staircase. Tom came highly recommended. Right from the beginning, Tom was very quick to answer any questions we had, provided us with various options to suit our tastes, and, all at a very fair price. When the project started, Tom and his team were pleasant, they worked efficiently and completed the project on time. Tom communicated with us throughout the project and made sure we were happy with the progress. Staircase Transformation
Thank you Tom and Matt for the incredible transformation of our circular staircase. Tom had great ideas and worked closely with us from his first visit to our home and along the process, to design the handrail, posts, and pickets, along with a custom stain to transform a 35 year old tired looking staircase into a brand new show piece that is the first thing you see as you enter the door.
Tom is a true craftsman, meticulous in his work, ensuring the final product fully exceeded our expectations — and it did!

Wonderful Job on Hardwood Installation Upstairs and the Installation of New Stairs and Pickets
My wife Lisa and I cannot say enough about the work that Woodwork Service did in our home. We had new stairs installed as well as 1100 feet of hardwood installed in all of our rooms upstairs. The renovation is spectacular! To say that Woodwork Service pays attention to detail is an understatement. I have never worked with any contractor who was so detailed and meticulous. They take tremendous pride in their work and it shows. Very patient and painstaking. That is what you want in a contractor. If you are like us you will shop around, and you will take a look at work done by other companies. When we saw Woodwork Services work done at some friends we knew they were the right choice. The finished product speaks volumes. It has really opened up the space and created an entirely new look in our home.
I can only give a 5 star rating. If I could give more I would. Do yourself a favor and make sure you have Woodwork Service quote on your renovation. You will be happy that you did.
New stairs and Upstairs flooring
We needed our carpeted stairs renovated to match our new flooring and decided to also have our upstairs carpet removed and replaced with hardwood. After some extensive research and several meetings with potential contractors, my wife and I decided to work with Tom. He was professional, diligent with his measurements and was very informative during our initial meeting. We arranged another meeting, his suggestion, to give us time to digest all the info he provided, his quote, and to be sure we wanted to work with him. To be honest, we were certain after the initial meeting because of the aforementioned professionalism, etc. Also, his enthusiasm for his trade and a strong belief in his work helped with the decision making.
Due to his busy schedule, work did not begin until a full month after our agreement. When he started, we quickly realized we made the right choice. He and his wife, Marta, laid runners and mats to protect our floors, taped plastic to the walls to protect other rooms from all generated dust and at the end of every night, he and Marta vacuumed their entire work area and left our house as clean as one can, considering it was essentially a construction zone. The really impressive thing for me was the attention to detail they both exhibited and the care they took in their job. For example, I noticed pretty severe creaking from the stairs after Tom had removed the carpeting and old treads, a problem which had nothing to do with his demo of the stairs. I mentioned it to him the next day and he said he noticed it too. The very next day, he found the problem and came up with a solution. I believe many contractors would come up with reasons not to rectify a problem like that. Kudos, Tom. They instructed us every night with what we could or couldn’t do and informed us of their plans for the next day. The job was to take about 10 days and it did. On the final day, they did some final touch ups and cleaned our house like they were never there. They had to use our garage for the building of treads, staining, cutting, etc., and that too was cleaned very well.
Overall, very impressed with both Tom and Marta, very happy with our new stairs and flooring and would most definitely recommend Woodwork Service to anyone.

Exceptional Detail and Work Ethic.
Had our stairs redone in late August..carpet removed and wood working (risers, treds, posts) entirely redone…wow!! Tom’s attention to detail is evident in his work and planning. He is very precise in his cuts and fittings which has been admired by all who see it. His partner Marta was able to match the stair stain to the flooring on the landing perfectly which makes for a seemless transition. They take the time to protect your house and clean up daily while they work. What a team! We were so impressed with their professionalism and daily work ethic, we requested them back in April to put down the wood flooring in our master bedroom and again the work done was exceptional. Their speed and efficiency is due in part because Marta works the mitre saw as well. We are extremely happy and very satisfied with their work and recommend them without hesitation!!
Absolutely amazing quality and service
We had our entire home renovated and that included all new hardwood and refinished stairs with wrought iron spindles.
The quality of care with our home was next to none. They have a dust proof machinery and left our house spotless! The house is a little older with some floor inconsistencies, but you would never know it by the work done to accommodate. What was most amazing to me is when refurbishing our stairs, we used our old stairs and they sanded it down so cleanly and matched our new wood perfectly that no one thought it was refurbished, they looked redone!

Tom and Marta updated our main staircase. They were professional, pleasant, meticulous and listened to our input. Their attention to detail is incredible. They placed mats on the inside floors and cleaned up every day before leaving. The garage was left cleaner than before they arrived. The updated stair case is a wow factor when walking in our front door. We are very satisfied with the end product and workmanship; we wholeheartedly recommend them.
